The original Polo Shop interior store design at Highland Park VIllage expanded a small interior by capturing available vertical space in an existing retail building. Light streams in from windows in a former mechanical loft and stairs create a sense of movement through the space. Custom display shelving allows the clothing to add color and texture. The Polo Shop was recognized for design excellence by the Texas Society of Architects.

The Village Theatre is a local landmark towering above the surrounding residential areas. Selzer Associates designed a complete interior renovation of the historic structure, adding a full basement within the exterior shell. The first floor was converted to retail use and four theaters were installed on the second floor. Leaseable area was increased by 65% without increasing the building footprint
